About Sophpremacy
Sophpremacy creates a variety of punk and goth inspired jewelry intended to be an affordable and more ethical alternative to the fast fashion “goth” industry. We believe that massive corporations and hyper-consumerism have no place in subculture, and aim to establish a community of goths, punks, emos, and artists who feel the same. All of our pieces are made with stainless steel and freshwater pearls, providing you with hypoallergenic and waterproof jewelry. We source pre-made pendants and charms, but assemble and design each whole piece by hand; this process is what allows us to offer you high quality, unique pieces without breaking the bank. We use compostable pouches and mailers made of recycled materials to reduce waste, and plan to implement more eco-conscious packaging as we continue to grow. In 2024, Sophpremacy competed in a series of 3 SharkTank-style competitions in Worcester, MA: WooTank, ClarkTank, and Clark University’s Business Pitch Competition. In the intercollegiate WooTank, Sophpremacy represented the only femme-owned business, and secured first place when the judges voluntarily decided to award owner Sophie Lee more than their initial investment ask. Sophpremacy also places first in the Business Pitch Competition, and fourth in ClarkTank.
